Rachel is Head of Social at BrandContent. Rachel began her career working in-house on a Facebook-first insurance product for FTSE100 insurer Admiral.
Since then she has worked on Social campaigns and strategies for clients across the UK in a range of sectors: from third sector to tech, political parties to environmental organizations. At BrandContent she sets social strategies, plans & executes integrated campaigns and writes & amplifies organic posts on Social. Rachel works closely with the BrandContent PR team to monitor conversations, spot opportunities for comment and ensure that all of their clients are newsjacking in the most effective way at the most relevant moment.

This presentation shows on how social networks such as Twitter, can be instrumental in spotting relevant conversations for brands to join in on, as well as giving guidance on how to use Twitter for effective newsjacking (both on the platform and feeding into PR).
